chaviw 76fca86c3d Use BBQ syncing instead of blocking in VRI 
BBQ can handle syncing, where it will prevent out of order frames and
ensure multiple syncs can be handled. Therefore, remove the code in VRI
where it blocks for blast sync and instead let BBQ handle it.
